Singers and Non-Singer "Groupies"
Welcome!

Groupies
Friends and family of singers, our cherished groupies,
are most welcome.
Groupies participate in the same hotel accommodations, tours, and meals as singers.
Cost for groupies is the same as cost for singers.​​

Cost
$3,950 per singer​​

Deposits
1st deposit $400 by November 10*, 2025
2nd deposit $800 by January 10*, 2026
3rd deposit $800 by March 10*, 2026
Final payment by April 25*, 2026

*Deposit dates are all 5 days earlier than the deposit dates listed on the MidAm brochure
To give Viva a window in which to send the funds to MidAm.

Deposits Non-Refundable but Transferable
Should a singer withdraw from the residency,
a substitute singer can take their place.
Deposits are transferable to newly-onboarding participants:
A withdrawing singer's deposit can be applied to
a newly-onboarding singer.
A withdrawing non-singer's deposit can be applied to a newly-onboarding singer or non-singer.
Viva la Musica will try to facilitate arrangements
for substitutions between the person withdrawing
and the new registrant.

Participants in the MidAmerica Productions International (MidAm) Sweden residency
make payments to Viva la Musica.
Viva la Musica then makes group payments to MidAm
on behalf of all paid participants.
No add-on cost to singers.

Cancellation Insurance
Viva and MidAm strongly recommend registrants consider purchasing cancellation insurance.
You may use any insurance company offering travel insurance. MAP suggests travelexinsurance.com (call 1-800-228-9792). Use Location Code 32-6180 when requesting a Travelex insurance quote.
Another trip insurance option suggested by MidAm is RoamRight.

Air Travel
Participants are asked not to make air bookings until
we have received the go-ahead from MidAm.
Group air travel will be arranged after January 15, 2026.

Viva la Musica Season Dues
Singers are asked to pay season dues
to help offset some of the costs
that Viva la Musica incurs for preparation for the upcoming season and residency:
rehearsals—conductor, pianist, venue, distance access, educational and information online portal,
hall rental, event insurance,
Bay Area dress rehearsals and a performance
orchestra, soloists, venue, playbill, advertising,
and Sweden trip administration.

$200 suggested dues.
If singers are participating only in some of the season's activities, registration fees can be prorated at the singer's discretion.
Registration fees are payable to Viva la Musica.
