For Singers Not Registered for Sweden

You are welcome to rehearse and perform with Viva in the Bay Area. 

Let Shulamit know of your intention to participate.

It is still possible to register for the Sweden residency with no penalty.
 

Attendance

The number of in-person singers and distance singers is almost equal.  I will do my best to provide resources for both groups.

Reciprocally, attendance is a priority—for the ensemble, for each singer, for accompanist and conductor.

Our expectation is that you will attend all rehearsals if humanly possible.

Please let Shulamit know in advance if you are unable to attend a rehearsal.

If you are in the Bay Area, please attend rehearsals in person, not on Zoom.
 

Rehearsals on Zoom for Distance Singers

Rehearsals will be Zoomed live and  links to the recordings posted online as soon after rehearsal as possible so that distance singers can participate online in rehearsals and, if the rehearsal time is not convenient, have access to the recordings.

• $200  dues pays for:

  • 13 choir rehearsals, 2 choir-orchestra rehearsals, and Los Altos concert participation.
